How To: Troubleshoot problems with calling using Velvetel Telephony

 

  1. Log out from Creatio

  2. Close all browsers

  3. Start a new (one) browser with one single tab in it and log in to Creatio

  4. Run a call, and see if the call connects, and is being answered or goes to a voicemail (or ends if no answer and no voicemail box has been set up).

  5. If successful - the issue solved

  6. If unsuccessful - proceed with the steps below 

  7. Performs hard reload - How To: hard reload different browsers

  8. Log out and log back in 

  9. Run a call, see if the call connects, and is being answered or goes to a voicemail (or ends if no answer and no voicemail box has been set up).

  10. If successful - the issue solved

  11. If unsuccessful - proceed with the steps below 

  12. Clear website data (you might need to re-login after that) - How To: clear website data and specific cookies in Chrome browser.

  13. Run a call, see if the call connects, and is being answered or goes to a voicemail (or ends if no answer and no voicemail box has been set up).

  14. If successful - the issue solved

  15. If unsuccessful - proceed with the steps below 

  16. Change the internet connection (e.g. share the connection via smartphone, and connect to it from the computer, or try different Wi-Fi)

  17. Run a call, see if the call connects, and is being answered or goes to a voicemail (or ends if no answer and no voicemail box has been set up).

  18. If successful - the issue solved

  19. If unsuccessful - proceed with the steps below 

  20. Run a call reproducing the problem

  21. Take a screenshot of the entire screen, including the browser with its address bar, current time, the Creatio screen with the call

    1. Additionally, it would be great if developer console logs could be provided - How To: open site developers console

    2. And this is how the browser could be prepared for the troubleshooting - How To: prepare your browser for troubleshooting

    3. Copy all the text from the developer console

    4. Provide Call URL. It can be done by:

      1. opening specific call
